Alright fine, its September already

The kids started school this week.  Everyone is happy and glowing and having a pretty good time with their new classes, etc.

Only one bus incident which involved a person outside the bus fighting another person, who happened to be holding a meat cleaver.  The non-meat cleaver person got in his car and grabbed what the bus driver thought was a gun, so all of the kids had to get on the floor.  6th graders crying, 7th graders looking around skeptically, 8th graders screaming "This is awesome!"

That was day two.

I start on Monday.  We prepped all week, got all ready, had our back to school potluck, yada yada.  Its going to be great.  Good families, fun kids.

I'm kind of ready to be back in fall, back in school and the routine of it all.  The last few weeks my exercise effort has been way down, my eating effort has been way up and I'm feeling it.  Need to get my shit together, yo!

What I am dreading is the dumb grey skies and the stupid dumb rain that comes with it.  What a waste of blue sky.

I must now mop the kitchen floor.  Every day this floor is a disaster area.  What is happening?
